# BI-Driven AI · A Manifesto > Behind every successful AI lies successful BI. A four-article manifesto for every organization that produces decisions with AI — a thesis on the structural conditions of AI built on BI methodology. Written by Ali YILDIRIM and published under D-CAT Technologies. The manifesto names the seam where two disciplines touch but do not merge: the **AI world** (Python, statistics, model training) and the **BI / EIM world** (ETL, data quality, semantic modeling, KPI governance, data lineage). Most AI projects fail not because of model complexity, but because feature enrichment, data quality and domain discipline are missing on the pipeline that feeds the model. The manifesto closes that gap with four articles. ## The four articles 1. **An AI project starts not with a model, but with a question.** The business question, acceptance criteria and success metric must be defined in BI's hands before any AI work begins. 2. **Feature enrichment is professional BI work.** ETL patterns, incremental load, semantic modeling, data lineage, KPI standards — preparing the features that feed a model demands BI know-how earned over years inside a data warehouse. 3. **The AI pipeline is fed continuously; its drift is monitored continuously.** The lifecycle — feature engineering, validation, deployment, drift monitoring, retraining — runs on BI methodology carried into the AI lifecycle. 4. **BI delivery and AI development work under one roof, in one discipline.** One management, one reporting line — the structural condition that changes AI success rates. The architectural spine is a **two-layered loop**: in the outer layer BI and AI are partners (BI disciplines the data → AI builds the prediction → AI output flows back as a new KPI); in the inner layer BI is the skeleton of the AI pipeline itself. ## Manifesto pages - [English (canonical)](https://bidrivenai.com/en/): Full manifesto in English — the canonical version - [Türkçe](https://bidrivenai.com/tr/): Manifesto in Turkish - [Deutsch](https://bidrivenai.com/de/): Manifest in German - [Español](https://bidrivenai.com/es/): Manifiesto in Spanish ## Source - [Source manifesto · Turkish v0.3](https://bidrivenai.com/bidrivenai_manifesto_TR_v0.3.md): Original markdown the published pages were rendered from ## Author - [Ali YILDIRIM on LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/aliyildirimben/): Author of the manifesto — 25 years in Business Intelligence, developing software since 1993 ## Publisher - [D-CAT Technologies](https://dcat.com.tr): Technology company defining BI-Driven AI in Türkiye; carries decades of BI methodology into agentic engineering - [D-CAT Technologies on LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/company/dcat-technologies): Company page ## Machine-readable metadata - [sitemap.xml](https://bidrivenai.com/sitemap.xml): XML sitemap with hreflang alternates for all four locales - [robots.txt](https://bidrivenai.com/robots.txt): Crawl policy — AI/LLM crawlers explicitly allowed ## Optional - [BI-Driven AI Method · F3](https://bidrivenai.com/en/#author): Seven disciplines, one loop — how the manifesto lands in practice (D-CAT method diagram embedded in the EN page) - [Two-layered loop diagram](https://bidrivenai.com/en/#loop): The architectural figure for the outer BI↔AI partnership and the inner AI-pipeline lifecycle
